Aggressive Growth - 14-Apr-2023
After a series of tests to confirm the findings, the decision was clear. The cancer needs to be treated aggressively through hormone and radiation treatment. It is a bit of a dilemma because the treatment should start right away, but we really should wait 6 months after the surgery to allow it to continue to heal. Mid-May is deemed to be the balance, five and a half months after surgery.
I struggled a bit with the selection of this image; we want to invert this image, we don’t want the new cancer growth. However, in another sense, if the cancer is easily seen, it is easier to zap it with radiation.
