Recently, Adobe released a new version of Lightroom with some new masking tools. I just wandered through some old images to play with, and found this shot. I'd given it one star, essentially, it is not something of any value, but I don't want to delete it.
The tools allowed me to clean up and enhance the image, to what (I think) I wanted, emphasizing the light on Dad, and bringing down the light in the background.
Just goes to prove, you may be able to make some of the older shots usable as time goes on.
