During my morning walk, these footprints out to the skating rink caught my eye. 

Not having my camera with me, I took these shots using a 2 different apps.   I was struck by the difference,  one image being much noisier than the other.  

Looking closer, I noticed that one was taken at ISO 32, the other at ISO 250.   On my camera ISO 250 is noise-free, but definitely not on my phone.  (My iPhone 8 is several years old, a newer one would likely be better). 

I'll need to keep an eye on the ISO when using the camera phone.
