We lived outside of Braeside Ontario, for almost 20 years before moving to Elmira Ontario. This was taken in May 2015, on my first trip back to the Arnprior area in 6 years.
Red Pine Bay was about 2km from our old home. On our way to the see the house, we took the River Road and stopped at Red Pine Bay. Cathy walked out to the end of the dock, and pondered the Ottawa River.
This image breaks a lot of "photographic rules", by design. For me, it is reminiscent of the challenges of our move to the Kitchener Waterloo area. Dark clouds around us, the end of many years in the Ottawa Valley, a step of faith, a brighter future.
